Southern Boiled Custard
This Southern custard is easy to make with milk, eggs, sugar, and vanilla cooked on the stove until thick for a rich and creamy drink served chilled.

An instant read thermometer inserted into custard should read 180 degrees F (82 degrees C). Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.
